Hai, I am Bala Mary

I am very happy to share with you my special story and my journey with you. First of all I would like to express my Sincere Gratitude to Caritas Hradec Kralove through ASHA Charitable Trust, Your Financial Contribution. Without your selfless contribution I could not have completed my education successfully. Thank you so much for Your Kind Help and Generous Support.

We are 4 members in our family namely my dad, mom, my brother and myself. I’m from the backward family. My father passed away and my mother was not able to pay the fees for my education. It was too difficult to manage the family too. Due to which I became a dropout from my studies when I was studying in 3rd grade. I was looking after my brother who was a new born baby.

When I was studying in 3rd standard, one of our neighbors informed us about ASHA sponsorship. From there my journey started as an ASHA sponsored child. I have seen many children in my hostel who are also poor like me. I felt privileged to be helped and supported by you. I had a desire from that time to be of help and support to such needy children.

At present I have completed my B.Com graduation with 83% and I got second topper in my college. Currently I am pursuing my M.Com Post graduation in St. Joseph’s College. My aim is to be a Charted Accountant (CA). In the coming year I am planning to apply for the CA Course. By your kind help, support and love I became a successful person in the society. I am very much thankful to you and the ASHA Charitable Trust

During Every summer and Dasara holidays ASHA Charitable Trust conducted camps for us. Through those Camps they gave us lots of guidelines and also surprising gifts. Those were the memorable days in my life. ASHA Charitable Trust taught me to be grateful to the sponsors who had been helping poor children like me.

During each camp and program we were explained about the generosity of the donors. I will ever remain grateful to my donors and pray for them. I request your prayers for me and for my family members. I am touched and inspired by one of Mother Teresa’s favorite texts in the Bible “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Mt 25:40). Dear Donor I truly believe it is God who has sent you on my way to show me the path to achieve my dreams. I will definitely make you, proud by the way I live and help the children in need. Owing a thousand thanks to you my dear sponsors, ASHA Charitable Trust and the Agency Caritas Hradec Kralove, I remain ever grateful to you.
